VT Circuit

  1. Run The Channel Setup Wizard To Configure The Analogue Output.
  2. Auto Discover A WEMScontroller4.
  3. Run The Channel Setup Wizard To Configure Relays.
  4. Run The VT Circuit Discover Wizard.
  5. Configure The VT Circuit Control Points.
  6. Assign A Schedule To The VT.

The following steps define how to set up a VT Circuit for the first time. If you would like to amend the settings of a VT Circuit that has already been configured, see the VT Circuit Configuration guide.

To set up a VT Circuit for the first time, begin by discovering and configuring a WEMScontroller3, using the Auto Discover and Channel Setup Wizards. The WEMScontroller3 has an analogue output, which is essential for controlling the VT. One WEMScontroller3 is needed per VT Circuit.

In addition to the above steps, the VT Circuit setup requires that the system is able to measure the Outside Air Temp, the internal room space temperature and the water flow temperature (via a clamp-on sensor). Existing temperature sensors can be used to provide these measurements.

The following process must be performed BEFORE attempting to use the VT Circuit Discover Wizard.

  1. From the Floorplan, go to Discovery | Auto Discover.
  2. Click Next to begin the Auto Discover Wizard.

  1. We now have 60 seconds to press the Signal Test button on the WEMScontroller3.

  1. The WEMScontroller3 will be discovered. Click Next.

  1. Give the WEMScontroller3 an asset name, and then click Next.

  1. Choose a room for the WEMScontroller3, and then click Next.

The discovery process is now complete. The following options will now be shown:

  1. Click Yes to run the Channel Setup Wizard or Finish to exit and return to the Floorplan.

The Auto Build and Auto Build FAHU buttons are greyed out because the Auto Build feature is not used to configure any channels on the WEMScontroller3.

Next Step

The Auto Discover of the WEMScontroller3 is now complete.

The next step is to run the Channel Setup Wizard in order to Configure The Analogue Output.
