This section covers how to use the WEMS user interface. The steps below assume that the physical setup of all devices is already complete, i.e., the necessary cabling has been connected and the WEMSprogrammer has access to a working broadband connection.
Launching The User Interface
To launch the user interface, do the following:
- Enter the IP address 192.168.1.111 into any modern web browser.

As long as the WEMSprogrammer has access to the LAN, the browser should display the following page.
- Click Advanced User.
Choose between Advanced and Quick User interfaces
- Enter the username and password (these should have been supplied separately), and then click .
Enter the username and password for the user interface
You will now be presented with the main user interface, where all the features of the WEMS system can be viewed and controlled. Typically, the initial screen presented will look like the one shown below.
If this is the first time the system's user interface has been accessed, you will be presented with a setup wizard that will help you to define the property. For a guide on how to set up the system for the first time, see Creating A Floorplan and Building A System.
