The following steps define how to set up a Fuel Tank for the first time. If you would like to amend the settings of an Fuel Tank that has already been configured, see the Fuel Tank Configuration guide.
To set up a Fuel Tank for the first time, begin by discovering and configuring a WEMScontroller3, using the Auto Discover Wizard and Channel Setup Wizard. One WEMScontroller3 is needed per Fuel Tank.
Additional Components
- Required: Pressure Transducer (a third-party device that measures the liquid in the tank).
- Optional: WEMScontroller1 or WEMScontroller4 (supports the engine start/stop relay and digital inputs).
