The FP AHU Discover Wizard

  1. Select the stage for the FP AHU, and then click Next. ClosedMore information about stages …
  2. The stages 1-4 are predefined setpoints for the enable, fan speed and cooling relays to follow.

Stage 1 (lead) will enable the relay outputs at lower temperature setpoints and will enable first, then stage 2 and so on up to stage 4 (lag), which enables at higher temperature setpoints.

This is a strategy to maximize energy savings by enabling different AHUs that serve the same space at different temperatures. This can prolong the life expectancy of the units by switching the staging between them so that one unit does not always work harder than the others.
