Modbus Discover Wizard

To set up Modbus, go to Discovery | MODBUS Discover.

1. Select the type of Modbus, and then click Next.

2. Select the manufacturer, and then click Next.

3. Select the slave and unit numbers, and then click Next.

4. Select a location for the Modbus, and then click Next.

5. Click Next to the confirmation message.

6. Click Next to create a SMARTheating Zone for the Modbus.

7. Select Deadband, and then click Next.

8. Select the areas that will form part of the new Zone, and then click Next.

9. Select the Objects that will make up the new Zone, and then click Next.

10. Enter a meaningful name for the new Zone, and then click Next.

11. Finally, click Finish to exit the wizard and return to the Floorplan.

Modbus Configuration

Once the Modbus Discover Wizard is complete, the Modbus can be configured through its icon on the Floorplan. For more information, see Modbus Configuration.
