Digital Channel

The Digital Channel screen can be reached as follows:

  1. From the Floorplan, go to the Modules Layer.
  2. Click on a device that supports digital channels.
  3. Click Show Channels.
  4. Click the Digital row.

Any channels that have been configured via the Channel Setup Wizard will be shown in the Digital Channels table. Click any item in the table to view more information in the Digital Settings section.

The Digital Settings section displays the following information:

Seq ID The unique ID of the channel in the database
Device ID The ID of the selected device
Channel Ref The number of the selected channel
Auto TX Tickbox toggles on/off
Input Delay The length of time to delay before the system reacts to the digital input
Inversion Changes the inversion of the channel
Pre-Scaler Used for metering. This is the multiplier to get to 1 unit of what is being measured, e.g. if 10 pulses equals 1 kWh then the pre-scaler is 10

Click Update to apply any changes to the settings.

To return to the default view of the Modules Layer, click Show Layout button.
