The WEMS system comprises a number of devices and sensors that work together to control and monitor the heating, lighting, security and other aspects of a property.
At the heart of the system is the WEMSprogrammer. This device is a miniature computer that communicates messages to each of the other WEMS devices in the system, so that heating and lighting outputs can be enabled and disabled according to the property owner's requirements.
The WEMSprogrammer takes input from various sensors and uses the measurements to determine which settings to adjust, in order to heat and light the property in the most energy efficient manner.
